"Te ştiu de mult, mi te agăţi în fiecare zi de picioare, umil şi mieros ca un cerşetor. Întorc îngreţoşat capul şi te aud cum mă înjuri pe la spate de mamă. N-ai nevoie de banul meu, obrazul ăla gros îţi plesneşte de sănătate, dar aşa te-ai învăţat: să mă buzunăreşti, să mă fraiereşti, să mă faci. Pentru tine, am fost întotdeauna un prost bun de jefuit. Ai mei m-au învăţat să las de la mine, să învăţ, să las loc de bună ziua şi chiar să fiu căpos ca să răzbesc, dar nu mi-au zis nimic despre tupeu."
